Temple Square!

So last night my choir went to temple square!! We got stuck in traffic though so we were late for our singing session! They announced we were the first school to never show up! haha. Finally we arrived though, we performed in the Assembly Hall. We only got to sing two songs which totally stunk but it was still amazing! The acoustics in that room are AMAZING!! You could just hear the echo, it was such a cool experience! Then afterward we had a few hours to eat dinner and look around temple square! We went out to dinner at the lions cafe, it was pretty delish! That was lots of fun. Then we were just going and looking at the lights and different sights, We actually ran into Sam Metz, Matt Poulsen, and Lindsay Stevens up there! So that was pretty cool!
So we went at the top of the Joseph smith building, where you can stand on the tenth floor and look out this big window and look down all over temple square and see the lights and the temple! It was so pretty!
So funny story, Once we were done with looking from the top of the Joseph Smith building, we went back into the elevator to go back to the main floor, David pushed the main lobby button in the elevator and then all of sudden all the buttons to every floor got pushed!! We were like oh great david!! haha. So then ding... we go down one floor. Like 4 Huge old guys were waiting at the door!! They were like are you getting out! and were like um.. no were going down! They shoved us out of the way and got in with us!! All of us were just thinking no no dont get in!! haha. Then they realized all the buttons got pushed!! We are cracking up! i haven't gotten a good ab workout in so long!! i've never laughed so long!! We were standing so close to each other i started to feel sick, but i couldn't stop laughing which just didn't help. I accidentally spitted all in Michelle's face! haha. So the guys were like alright who pushed the buttons!! Cause we were just going down one floor at a time and the door would open and close!! It was hilarious!! We told them it was the boys!! haha. So finally after 9 floors!! We get out of the elevator!! It was so hot, and i got sick from going down so much, this elevator was shakier than most, and we had just eaten dinner, and we were laughing so hard!! haha. so we all get out, and then stacey goes.. guys i have a confession to make! It was me who pushed all the buttons!! haha. It was hilarious though, you just had to be in the elevator i guess!!
We were cracking jokes and doing adventurous things all night!! It was a blast!! I hadn't had so much fun in awhile!! We were kinda bumbed though cause we missed our boys first home game!! But we won! so thats exciting!!
Oh and did you guys know the temple has the big dipper on it! its pretty cool! (pictures below, but looks like you cant really see it, anyways they just have dots aligned as the big dipper on the temple.)
