Student Council!

I just want to give a big shout out to all of student council! I love you all! This year has already been such a blast and its just barely begun! I cant wait to see all the things we end up coming up with for the school year! I've decided we need to have a hot rod party, since a few of us (ME) still have not seen it!! Real world, Salem Hills the movie is coming along great matt!! I hear there are some really funny moments in it!! We seriously should keep it going until the very end of the year and then have like a full 2 hour movie!! haha. Well We'll all be in the parade for Onion days tom! Everyone should come to the parade! Hopefully it doesn't rain too hard like last year! haha. peace out!

SHHS Football!

Our football boys are doing well! We are 2-1! Our very first game was against Orem! IT was an awesome game!! We doubled their score leaving a score of 32-16! What a great first victory! We then had our first stomp of the year to celebrate! Our second win was against Uintah winning 53-21! I'm excited for the rest of the season!! Football games our my all time fav!

Senior Sunrise!

Senior Sunrise is probably one of my most favorite things!! Our senior class is rocking too! Senior Sunrise is just on the first week of school. All the seniors come to the school at 7am, to watch the sun rise, and there is a huge free breakfast for everyone! Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, OJ, can you say YUM! Its a great time to just bond as senior class, get to know people if you dont already know them, and get a dang good free breakfast! Lots and lots of fun! At the end of the year we'll have a senior sunset before we graduate!

Club Rush Day!

Club Rush day at SHHS! Every student at Salem must join a club. So how do we get people to sign up! We have Club rush day! Club rush day is the second half of the day. Every single club (58 to be exact) has a station in the hallway. Each club has a poster to advertise them, and a table set up. Each club adds their own little spice. DECA had free popcorn, Board game club you could go play board games with eachother. Calle street soccer club gillie had his laptop set up and you could watch the sick moves of the pros. Skyhop hip hop club had music and everyone was break dancing in the hallway, and co-ed volleyball club you could just go to the gym and play some v-ball. So all the students go around to all these different clubs and try them all out. Once they are sold on a club you sign up with the teacher who is in charge of their club. Its a fun day to just socialize find the clubs you want, the mascot is out in the hallways saying hi to everyone. Balloons are everywhere and posters of each club, lots of fun and food!! Its just a lot of fun! The clubs i joined are. Calle street soccer, Harry Potter, and Wiffle ball!

1st day of Senior Year!

Its Senior Year Baby!!
Pretty crazy I must say! Time really does fly!! The first day of school was awesome though! Everyone was dressed in their school spirit. We had an awesome assembly with cheer, drill, and dance company performing. The band marched down the auditorium playing our school song while the students sang along. We showed all 4 student council videos that each grade made. And best of all we had a huge surprise/treat for the student body. The lights went out during the assembly, and everyone was freaking out. Little did they know we had a little surprise for them. Being a brand new high school last year, we didn't have our mascot, it takes a long time to order them! So this year we finally had it, and wanted to make a big introduction. The skyhawk came repelling down from the ceiling of the auditorium, with a big spotlight on it. It was actually really funny though because half way through it got stuck. It was supposed to come all the way down and come on the stage and get everyone pumped. But he got stuck, and just sat mid-air for like half the assembly, until we could get him down, It was really funny. But the assembly was a hit and a great turn out. Then the whole day it was just nice to see old friends and bring up old memories. This school year is going to be the best yet, and i'm excited for the memories to come!

Updation

Hello All!!
So I am foreverly behind on this ridonculous blog of mine! These next few posts will just be some updates of what have happened since my past post. This one starting with SHHS girls soccer. Our record as of right now is 5-3. Could be better, but could be worse. I absolutly love my team! The girls are all amazing!! The season can only get better from here!! We've had some really fun times together with team dinners, pool parties, and best of all we just did this AMAZING service project. Each sports team at SHHS is required to do a service project. Last year we sewed quilts. BUT THIS YEAR.. We went to Salem Elementry and put on a assembly and taught the kids about health and fitness, and then we did a run-a-thon with the kids. Honestly the funnest thing I've ever done! It was so awesome!! Well heres a few pics of whats been going on with the team.

Disco Skating!

We went to Classic skating the other night and every saturday is disco night!! We got a bunch of friends together and dress up crazy! It was so much fun!! It was one of the funniest things I've done all year! Were planning on going lots more in the future!! More pics on my facebook if you'd like to see.
