Some single people may say Valentines Day a.k.a the Day of Love is the worst day of the year. I may not have a significant other in my life right now, but great love surrounds me all the time. I have the love of amazing friends and family who show how much they love and care for me through their actions. Most importantly I have a Father in Heaven who loves me very much. When I'm feeling alone or discouraged I can always turn to his love. I want to live my life with the pure love of Christ serving and thinking of others first, and showing the love I have to offer.
Some friends and I went and saw "The Vow" last night in theaters. It was really good, yet really sad. A tear jerker for some. We dressed up for it as well, and may have gotten a little carried away. ha. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Life is like a crazy roller coaster. You definitely have your ups and your downs. There have been moments in my life these past two years I have been away at college, where I thought things couldn't get much worse... and then.. they did. ha ha. But it has helped me realize that we need to have the bad things in life so that we can appreciate all the good. And there is so much GOOD always surrounding us. I have a beautiful life, beautiful friends, and a beautiful family. Can't get much better than that!
Side Note
Oh and on a side note... I have the BEST roommate in the whole wide world! I was having a really rough weekend whether she knew it or not, and I came home from school and I saw a sticky note on my door that said " Be prepared to be stickified!" I opened my door, and sticky notes were all over my room of nice things about me, and inside jokes we have together. It meant more to me than she will ever know! She always is doing nice things for me, and I couldn't be more grateful for her! Love you Elsha!
