Alissa's Baptism

On December 4th, my roommate Alissa was baptized! It was one of the most spiritual experiences i've had in a very long time! My other roomates were there as well, which was really neat. I was able to sing the song courageously at her baptism. The following day was fast and testimony meeting, so I felt I needed to get up and bare my testimony for her to hear! I also sang o-holy night in the 3rd hour of church for our Christmas program.

I know the savior lives, and I am so happy for Alissa. She has had one of the hardest lives i've ever heard of. She has come so far, and I have seen her learn and grow and the changes she has made in her life! I am so grateful for her and the example she is to me! How brave she is to be the first in her family to become LDS! It was the most spiritual weekend i've ever had. I feel my testimony has grown so so much since i've been away from home. I love this gospel, and i'm so grateful for it!

Nia Kensignton LaRue

A new niece of mine was born on this earth November 4th, 2010! Her name is Nia Kensignton LaRue! I am so happy for my sister Shannon and her husband Anthony! She is so beautiful!

Roomies!!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my wonderful roomies! I love them to dealth! Even though we are all so different, we all get a long so well! They add spice to my life! We decided we wanted to take family pictures, since we are all the family we've got right now!! I love taking cute pics!

Cabin Trip to Brianhead!

Last weekend some boys invited us(elsha, sam, and I) to their Cabin up at Brianhead! It seriously was one of the best weekends i've ever had! They were so nice, such gentleman! They cooked us dinner, and we had a candlit dinner, then we went in their hottub and sana. When we came back we just spontaneously started dancing in the living room. They were teaching us how to do the quickstep and other ballroom dances! Then they made us this amazing desert called "monkey bread" so amazing! Then we watched "Italian Job" such a great movie! While the move was going, we all gave each other back massages, and did like massage trains and such!! It was the best!!! Then in the morning the boys were cooking us french toast, and hot apple cidar. Then they took us shooting, which I hadn't done since I was a little kid! It seriously was such a blast!! They were so nice, and it seriously was the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend of my life!!!

Fall Happiness!

I love fall!! I just wish the season would last longer! Its already so cold and miserable, winters here are always so LONG too! Carved a Harry Potter pumpkin for Halloween. Cant wait for the 7th movie "Deathly Hollows" to come out!! Only 5 more days until the midnight showing, which of course i'll be going to! Elsha and I went home for Halloween. Just hung out with one of my best friends Brooke and a few of her friends. Next holiday.... THANKSGIVING! cant wait!

Courageously

So I just got back a cover song I did of "Courageously" by Jenny Phillips that I recorded back in May. I made a slide show to go along with it as well. Enjoy!

St. George

So Yesterday 3 girls and myself went down to St. George for the weekend! We stayed at my friends Nana's house! Her Nana is so funny, and it was SO nice to actually be in a normal house with a kitchen and everything! We just stayed up and ate food, talked, and then all had a big slumber party on her living room floor and watched "Return to Me!" Such a great movie! Then in the morning we went to the temple! It was so nice to be able to do baptisms, because I hadn't been to the temple since before school started! Then we just went and had pizza for lunch, went shopping and messed around, then ate in and out, and headed back home. It was a short trip, but perfect to get our spirits up! Oh and also the weather down there was so warm! It was so nice to get away from the freezing cold weather for awhile!

Homecoming Week!

Homecoming week was a blast! We had a crazy neon Dance, there were TONS of people!! Then me Elsha and Sam were on a powderpuff team! We killed 31-0! It was so much fun, and i love meeting all the new girls on my team! The football game we won 20-7! Goodway to end the week! We also had a tailgate part, a parade, a comedian, and become a true T-bird night through out the week too! lots of fun!

Last week was my 19th Birthday!! The weekend before my friends took me out to dinner at applebees! My sister also came from Provo to visit me and bought me some cinnamon rolls! Then on my birthday, my aunt brought me a yummy pie so i could blow out candles with my girls! One of my roomates decorated my room, and another one took me out shopping! I got a bunch of phone calls, letters and presents in the mail, and facebook messages! I felt very loved, and it was a great Birthday!

New Hair

So I dyed my hair over the weekend for the first time!!! It was pretty scary cause I went a lot darker then my natural hair color. But it turned out great!

Kanarrasville Creek Hike!

Yesterday Elsha, Sam, and I went on this awesome hike!! Its called Kanarrasville Creek. Its about 10 min. south of us! Half the hike though you are traveling in a river upstream, so its actually harder then we thought! ha ha. Its so BEAUTIFUL though. I lost my flip flops, my sunglasses, and i fell into the river! It was still really fun though!

First Home Football Game!

So Last Saturday was our first football game!! Some of us made red tu tu's to dress up in! It was a lot of fun! We played San Diego and won 32-3! Great Win T-Birds!

SUU!!

So its OFFICIAL! I have moved to SUU!! Here are some pics of my dorm room. I have been crazy busy! All freshman have been required to go to orientation for the past 3 days. Some of it was really good, but other parts were really stupid! We have a full schedule from 8am-10pm. So it can get pretty tiring! We heard two AMAZING inspirational speakers though, Marlon Smith and Joe Martin. We also did a campus Tye Dye, 2 dance parties, classes, and activies and games. We also did a service project. My group did a Free Car wash! Tomorrow I start classes though, which i'm excited for. I'm ready to get into the groove of things I think, but nervous too!
